    • Actually it is not the end of the world but the end of the world as we KNOW it. The age of aquarius is being ushered in. All of the evil will be and is being purged. Very interesting read.

    • from what i understand, the mayan calendar is sort of like a wheel (over simplifying it).. so the world never ‘ends‘, eras end.

dec 21, 2012 is the end of an era and the wheel turns once more..

scientifically speaking though.. it could be a ‘wobble’ on the earths axis... also known as the galactic alignment.. which earth has done a LOT anyways.

We may have some severe weather and such, but... dec 22, 2012, i will be waking up and heading to work as usual..

    • We were in Cancun recently and heard from the Mayans themselves. We saw the pyramid there that is an amazing icon of their calendar. They have a lunar and solar calendar that are like gears that turn separately but meet at certain intervals. The way they explained it 2012 is the end of the calendar. We were also told that the NASA calendar is the only one more accurate. Interestingly enough it ‘ends’ or starts over (which ever you prefer) in 2017. I see major changes coming and not good ones. We may have a new beginning, but I do see an end of the world as we know it coming. Doomsday Dee Dee tongue out
