Q & A

Hello Ladies, my hubby and I are planning to have a few friends over for games, cards, and fun stuff. I was trying to figure out what type of food should I serve? This is a normal laid back night and we just want to keep it simple I’m used to doing things on a bigger and more elegant scale, any ideas?

      chips and a bean dip

crackers and cheese ( i have a Lithuanian cheese salad that is great on crackers )

maybe meatballs- have some rolls if people want them on a roll...

      maybe have Chili

      just my thoughts...

    • Neicy,
this is my familys favorite appetizer
they are easy and taste soooo good!

      1 lb ground beef
1 lb breakfast sausage (the kind in a tube)
8 oz or a little more of velvetta cheese
1 loaf of cocktail rye bread (the little ones)

brown gr beef and sausage, drain fat
      add cheese to melt
spoon onto the little rye breads and broil just until cheese is brown.
      Easy and delicious!

      Some of the favorites are:

      pigs in a blanket

hot crab dip/served with crusty bread or crackers

      shrimp dip/served with crackers

white pizza dip/served with bread sticks

      sweet/spicy meatballs

      crab pretzel

Just to name a few... if any appeal to you let me know and I will send you the recipes!!
