Did anyone check out the Oscar nominations and if so what do you think about them?
I work in tv and film so I do like to watch the Oscars. Its the only awards show I watch .
I am not really a big fan of the Oscars or any award show for people who make crazy money like they do, however this year for me is different. Heath Ledger was one of my favourite actors and I want him to win for his role in the Dark Knight, which by the way has been snubbed by the Oscar committee.
Also I hope they don’t keep on focusing on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt all night, they are not the only people there.
I’m all about some Oscars right now, although my column tomorrow won’t be, lol.
I am surprised that Cate Blanchett didn’t get a nod, too. I find it very interesting that both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are nominated for top spots. Is that a powerful Hollywood presence or what??
We’ve loaded our Netflix queue with as many contenders as are currently available on DVD, which sadly isn’t enough for me. I’m looking forward to Vicky Cristina Barcelona in particular.
