Are you the mother of a SPECIAL needs Child/Adult? How are you coping w/ this?

I understand. I do not have a special need child/adult in my family BUT both my boy and my man can sure fit in this category.
It is a lonely place. I know. The endless giving, the draining... yes, we love unconditionally. However, the love or the recharging in return unfortunately has to come from different person and different places. Wish it can be bounced back from the origin and yet it is not.
When you need your battery recharged, this is one of THE PLACES . I am with you
Couldn’t be any better timing. Here’s any angel to you...

That’s fine.. you have spoken to me directly to my heart. Thank you to you and you are welcome.
My 20 year old daughter is at home with me, she has special needs and at times it can be very trying. She doesn’t always understand why she can’t do the things her friends can do. It’s like taking care of a 5 year old sometimes, It’s very hard for me to get a break, between her and my mom who suffers from Alzheimer’s. But I just take one day at a time and I pray a lot. This site is the closest thing to a support system that I have found in a very long time. Thanks again and again.
