None of the above. I have decided to just be ghostly white this summer. I worry even more since moving to Phoenix & constantly sunblock. I still get a little color but not the tans I used to worship the sun for in the past. Any fake tanner I have ever used just didn’t work well for me.
The night before a wedding I used a tanner, I woke up to my skin looking very dark orange. I scubbed until my skin almost fell off.
Base tans from fake baking only give you 3% sunscreen protection. Not a very good number. I sometimes add the tubed tan in the summer just to enhance the little bit of color I get through all that sunscreen I use. Ive tried spray tans but they always seem to make me look dirty. Not a good look...lol
I am a faithfull baker! I go atleast twice a week. I actually feel better for a few days after I bake. It seems to help me physically but I know it helps me mentally. Also due to my liver disease it helps me not look yellow! It is my 1 luxury! My hubby will even tell me it is time to go get energized.
I have used fake tanner and with varying results . For the most part I don’t worry about a tan . I don’t do any tanning in the sun I have had some skin cancer removed and I do use sunscreen everyday even in winter .
neither for me.. skin cancer, looking old, and glochma (sp) are all too real to me..
The secret to a good fake tan is exfoliation before hand and slathering on the body lotion so your skin is in top condition - I love Fake Bake and Clarins as they do a fair colour so you look sun kissed not full on orange or you have suddenly developed a mahogany colour from snow white - it’s just by trying brands ........I’ve always been a fake tan girl never a sun worshipper ......
I always use a different type for my face not one product do all - you can also get body lotions with a hit of fake tan which you build up the colour to suit - I love those.
I do use the lotion on my blinking white legs with good results, but like UK said, exfoliation is the key.
I have a niece in law that is 10 years younger than me that fake bakes at the salon all the time and she looks older than me, wrinkles around her eyes and her chest is blotchy. Yuck!
Not my bag. I sun screen and also wear a hat in the sun. I don’t need any help looking older. LOL
Tan in a tube for me. But just on my glow in the dark legs. I always slather on the body lotion before I apply the tan stuff. Makes it go on much smoother. I think I use the lightest shade coppertone makes and it doesn’t really get orange at all.
Tulip
I just like to knock the edge off my whiteness... it’s bad when you glow in the dark.... besides tanning makes you look slimmer....But I do use sunscreen cuz I want to protect my skin
I use one from neostrata and oil of olay no problems looking like an ompa lompa

I’m going to try spray tan this year. I think I’ll do the one where the person sprays you with a bottle. I’ve used the spray booths and were not happy with the results or I just didnt’ go back enough times.
