    • Well I change my haircolor pretty much with the seasons, I go dark in the winter months and get lighter as the spring/summer begin to approach, by mid summer I’m either a redhead or some form of blonde. Why? I like change and besides I’m my daughters guinea pig she does my hair for me.

    • I color my hair to try to keep up with this gray hair. I try to stay as close as possible to my natural color....brown.

    • I used to color my hair blonde when my children were little. They both had natural blonde hair. Now I just get golden highlights put in it.

I have an olive skin tone, the highlights give me a healthy glow.

    • I color every four weeks. My gray is too stubborn to do it myself. I need a professional. I go medium brown with reddish highlights, my natural color. I used to go auburn. Loved it!

    • My hair stylist tells me she colors my hair “carmel” and highlights it with strawberry blonde.

Seems to look good, I get lots of positive comments :<)

I think my 10-year-old gave me all the gray I have to hide!

    • I have the magic of Bruno .... who spends hours making me blonde - don’t ask what the real colour is I would have to look at a childhood picture - I go slightly more caramel in the winter and lighten up in the summer and very blonde for August when I go away ..... then tone back again September.

I’m ready to go lighter - it affects my mood - everything

    • I started coloring mine regularly about a year ago.  I’m naturally dark blonde with a lot of red tones, but I color it a pretty intense red.  I’ve got pale skin and freckles, the red looks very natural on me and is pretty much the color I had for the first three years of my life.  Red runs in the family.

    • Forgot to say.  I have GOT to get a box of color soon.  I found my first gray hair over the weekend.  I know I’ve earned it, but I’m not ready to show it yet.

    • I do the same as Kim. I have caramel low lights—mine
are covering gray. Every other month I get some blonde
highlights. In the summer I play with blonde chunks, and different shades of blonde. As I have become more gray,
I am trying to figure out how to keep the cost down.

    • I’ve been everything from bleached white-blonde to black, and now red.  My hair looks almost exactly like my little icon mannequin.  My natural hair is sort of a dark blonde that goes red in the sun.  Have to cover some silver now, too!

The funny thing I’ve noticed (since I’ve basically run the gamut of hair colors) is the difference in the type of men who approached me...when it was blonde, I got a lot of negative hoots and suggestions; when it was black no one came near me (I think it made me look kind of hard and unapproachable) and now that it’s red, lots of elderly men tell me I remind them of their late wives! Cute!estatic
