    • I can't stand  the feel of it or the sound!!! I just received 2 ebay auctions stuffed in styrofoam, ugh! I'd rather deal with spiders than styrofoam, they creep me out less. That said, if I received a package stuffed in spiders I probably freak totally out!tongue out

    • I don’t like it either. And, packing peanuts are a pain! I have been searching far and wide for packing material that is so much more eco friendly when I send my chocolates. I may have found something at Office Max and now am working on finding it in bulk. Shredded, recycled brown paper. That may be the ticket.

    • I’ve seen the packing peanuts made of starch that are disolvable. In fact, I used to have a cat that ate them! They aren’t quite as creepy to handle, but still funky. To me it’s worse that fingernails on a chalkboard!

Almost, that’s what I’m sayin‘! Can you imagine...live ones? Sounds like a scene from a horror movie.

I’ve encountered people who like to fiddle with their empty Styrofoam cups. I start feeling violent!!!

    • I don’t like the styrofoam packing peanuts. They have so much static in them that they stick to your fingers and are hard to get off!

    • coach...I feel you though. I can’t stand it, the feel, the sound it makes.  It is like nails on a chalk board. Oh...and

I also understand about the lotion ha! I hate for my hands to be dry and styrofoam will drain every once of moisture from my hands.
I’ve often said that if I’m ever taken as a prisoner for any reason I will give up all the secrets and turn in all my friends if my captors make me go a day with dry hands and feet.

    • I do have to say I like Styrofoam to go boxes, esp in Chinese restaurants for left over.  Yes, the square Chinese togo boxes are cute and nowadays, they don’t even come with the wire.  However, the styrofoam makes it easy to heat up in microwave.  Yes yes, I know, it is bad to heat styrofoam in microwave.  Again, guilty as charged as in the other blog, call me Lazybumbum.

    • Almost, thank you so much for validating my phobia! My kids think it’s hilarious, and have even been known to use styrofoam as a way to weaken me! I so totally get the “giving up secrets“! haha!

China, I’ve done that too. Not often, because I know it’s bad. Seems like everything leeches harmful chemicals these days!

    • I hate syrofoam in any shape or form.  There are so many eco-friendly alternatives there’s really no excuse to ever use it anymore.
