    • I love Catherine Deneuve!

I studied French years ago and seeing French films was required. I loved Yves Duteil (sp?) I really loved Manon Du Source, the french version of Three men and a baby, and I think my favorite was the one called “Camille Claudelle” It’s about August Rodin and his protege who used to do all the hands and feet for his sculptures. I’m a big fan of French films.

    • My husband and I watch lots of foreign films, French included.

Naturally, all of the titles escape me right now, but I particularly remember one in which it was post-apocalyptic (they never revealed what happened) and a women and her child (children? it’s been several years) were struggling for food and trying to get to a safe zone they’d heard rumor of.

It’s a shame I can’t remember the name of it, it was very good!

    • Thanks for responding! Yes, Amelie was adorable. Catherine D. is oh so classy. Camille Claudelle was great, too.

Other good ones: The Dinner Game, Manon of the Spring, uh uh...like Feather, I can’t remember any others by name at the moment.

I adore actors Daniel Auteil (sp?) and Fanny Ardent.
