Do you ladies with curly hair have a difficult time finding a hairstylist who can consistently give you a good cut?
Oh, yes! I took advantage of a trip to New York last year and had my hair cut in the Ouidad salon. They are truly experts in cutting curls. Then when I came home I went right in to see my stylist. She washed my hair and looked all through it to try and match what was done in New York evry time I had a trim. She’s done a pretty good job of it but I need another Ouidad cut again to freshen it up.
Every time I see your photo on the site, though, I think, “she’s got really cute hair.”
Against all odd. I am an oriental with wavy hair instead of silky straight hair.
I can’t say much about my hairstylist - good or bad! Instead of singing “He ain’t heavy! He’s my brother” I have to switch to “He ain’t heavy! He’s my husband!”
I wish I have very curly hair other than wavy.
Moose. Did you get my moose?
Yes, I found one in Frederick, Maryland when I was 20-something. Problem was I was a week away from moving away! Didn’t find another hairstylist I was “faithful” to till last year. That woman knows how to work my waves & curls! She’s also the first hairlsytlist who was able to teach me how to re-create the fab hair at home.
Ugh! I have the worst time with that! Every one of the stylists around here just don’t know how to handle it! The last time I had it cut, I told the lady to use a diffuser. She couldn’t find it so she proceeded to blow dry my hair without it, while running her fingers through it the whole time! It was massively FRIZZIE!!! Luckily, the cut was ok, so soon as I got home I rewet it, added my products, and let it air dry! I use so many products to control it, most people would look like they’d never washed their hair! I use a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair, then I use a leave in conditioner after towel drying. I usually dry my bangs, then add a curl cream to my hair and diffuse it (unless it’s the weekend and I’m not going anywhere, then I air dry it). Once it’s dry I add a serum for frizz control and hairspray! LOL My hubby calls me a walking chemical spill! My dream is to someday be able to have my hair cut with a Ouidad trained stylist! But living in rural Eastern North Carolina, it’s not likely to happen!
I found someone but she just wanted to cut my hair the same way all the time. it got old.. I have hair that is picky on what I use on it.. I have to change my shampoo every month because it gets all frizzy when it gets immuned to it.
