Are you perimenopausal? Are you suffering symptoms, and your significant other looks at you as if your head just spun around?
Oh I believe Im going thru perimenopause. My periods are late sometimes, Will have a normal one then 2 weeks later I will have another one. This month it only lasted 2 days...very strange. Sometimes I can experience hot flashes. Not that common yet. It drives my husband crazy when I have 2 periods a month or spot in between periods. Cant wait till it ends. Another thing thats weird is by breasts hurt all the time now. Use to hurt only 2 weeks before now almost all month. It hurts to wear a bra sometimes...ouch!!!
I’ve been in it for a couple of years now. I finally went in and got some bio identical hormones. Progesterone and Estrogen in separate creams. I use just a little bit on the inside of my arms, rub it in and I’m amazed that after just a month, I feel so much more balanced. Even my thinking is clearer. No night sweats. No hot flashes. Much less irritability. What a difference!
Unofficially.....yes!

I can relate to many of the same things you all are experiencing. Totally frustrasting! Have you ladies ever seen “Menapause” the Musical. Absolutely hilarious. Somehow we have to laugh through some of this. I am wary of trying Rx or over the counter. Not sure of all of the side affects.

At 48 I’m post-menopausal. (It started at 38). I’ve been miserable on and off with hot flashes for the last ten years. I don’t miss the periods, but I cried when I was told at 42 ‘no more babies!’
I’ve wondered what post menopausal feels like. You‘re still having hot flashes? Egad, does the stuff ever end? Now that I’m on hormones, I’m a little afraid to run out and trigger raging symptoms. I’ve felt so much better over the past month.
Yes. Hubby was sure when he came home from work tonight that my head spun around. I kept snapping at him for no reason at all. Breasts hurt a lot more than they used to. I used to run around braless most of the time at home, now it hurts too much to do that.

My doctor said I am going through this. I have many symptoms and I just read Dr. Madden’s post so I’ll be discussing this with my doctor. I don’t think men really understand. My husband says can’t you take a pill or something?
ummmm Diana did you smack him upside his head?
