    • I found out that last February, an ex’s live-in girlfriend died of the flu. Yesterday, what I have felt like just the start of a cold. Today, there is no runny nose but my chest is full and hurts like hell when I cough, and I did get a fever of 100.8 earlier. So part of me is thinkging, “Oh God, how sick am I gonna be?”

    • I have.. lol
Had an anxiety attack once upon a time & was convinced it was heart.

Last year’s sudden stomach flu literally turned me into a human volcano. Thought it was food poisoning from a restaurant. It wasn’t. But I’d never been so severely ill in my entire life. I was scared on top of being sick. (Sorry to be gross. lol)

      Are you ok?

    • I have heard of alot of cases of pneumonia this year.
I’m wasn’t feeling great this afternoon and this evening.  I feel like I’m wiped out..washed out...or been through something traumatic...and I haven’t.  I even had a co-worker of mine to come up to me and ask if I was feeling okay.

But I never really get worried unless someone is throwing up...then I panic!!!!

    • OK... I’m sorry. Cindy I didn’t see your 2nd part of your post until now. I think a trip to a walk-in clinic may ease your mind.

My son Chris (age 18)has been hacking & very tired for days but he just keeps going. I’d like him to be checked for walking pneumonia...  I’ll speak with him when he gets home about this. Him going to the walk-in would ease MY mind. He sounds like he should be on an anti-B.

    • Yeah, I sometimes tend to freak out, especially late at night when I’m lying in the dark unable to sleep because I’m miserable.   Of course I almost always feel better by morning and have to laugh at myself.

    • Thanks, ladies. I am up because I could not fall asleep. But my fever broke, and I already feel much much better! I still have some giganto ball o’ phlegm in my chest, but I don’t feel so blah now.

    • Yeah, when I was 30 I thought I had Lou gehrigs disease. I was so convinced I was dying by internet research that I tried to purchase some insurance that would pay out in the event of a debilitating illness. they turned me down. LOL! Turned out i had high stress. And here i am almost 10 years later just as healthy as can be.
