    • My husband likes the outdoor and he is a bow hunter.  I am a city girl.  Right after we married, it was the elk hunting season and he asked me to go with him.  To be honest, I rather stayed in my comfy bed.  But I went.  I had a fever and really wanted to get home but I rather pleased him.  So I napped in the truck while he went hunting.  I took my rosary out and prayed fervently “Please, please, let him get his elk soon so I can get out of here!”  Without an hour, he came back excited, said he shot one.  After we picked up the animal, we went to the butcher immediately.  Would I go again?  Maybe, a one night stand is far enough for me.

    • I love to camp but the rest of my family hates it!!  Just a few nights - nothing major.
Our 1st camping trip, pitched the tent& got all set.  Then we were warned about bears.  Keep trash locked up, etc.  No problem. Until the altitude caused my sons nose to bleed AGAIN.  He threw the bloody rag on the floor of the tent.  We went rafting.  It rained into the tent.  Blood ran everywhere.  When sons & I got back, hubby was packing up.  He sure wasn’t sleeping in that bloody tent with bears on the prowl!!  We haven’t been back to Colorado but they have humored with a couple of short camps.

    • We love the outdoors and camp in Hill Country quite a bit.  My husband bought a trailer for his business that was set up as an auto auction office (air conditioner, refridgerator, plenty of outlets, etc.).  We trailored our bikes one time and decided to make it more of a “camper“.  Since we take so many 3 day weekend trips we started staying in it.  It‘a a lot less than hotel rooms and thus we can take more trips!  He want’s to buy another fifth wheel but I can’t justify the $$ now.  Don’t get me wrong, I love hotels.  But camping we get to build fires, star gaze, watch the deer and meet lots of really nice people.
