Career: Please refer to this post first, http://fabulously40.com/article/id/life-is-too-short-find-success-doing-what-you-love-to-do-2255; then the question is:
What is your true passion?
To be honest, I like to talk (surprise, not really). So I like to do seminar, or be a speaker. I am dwelling more.
Philanthropy—if I could afford it! I know that sounds like, “yeah right” but I love to buy things for others, esp during the holidays w/underprivileged kids or families having a rough time. I’ve often told my husband I wish I had gobs of money and we could regularly drive down to Tijuana and give some of those folks clothes and food. It just makes me happy to do that! Really breaks your heart to see what’s down there...and of course in many places in the US and elsewhere. Anyhow, that’s my 2 cents!
I actually after all the bitching some days love my life – I did the whole build a corporate business and now I do my real love fashion retailing but 3 days a week mentoring, nurturing and investing in women and their business – I love seeing people gain confidence doing something they have a passion for and making a difference. I want to give my knowledge away ....and that's what I'm doing.
Event planning and Interior Decorating are my true passions.
"As you open the door to new relationships and remove the chain from your own fears, God will overwhelm you with new splendor."
Kduncan, that is one of the things that I do now, I have 1 support group that I do through work and one group that I work with through church.
I have many true passions, but they seem to revolve around people, and making them feel good.
Nurse: I make people feel better!
Slumber Parties consultant: I make people laugh, feel better, have a good time, and enhance their relationships with their partner!
Beauticontrol Spa and skincare consultant: I make people feel good and look good!
I get a lot of opportunity to pursue my passion with my work. I also have some sideline work I do, and I volunteer.
