Do you think Time Share resorts are a good investment or a good value for your family?
Ah, Sedona!! Just saw it for the first time this spring. Awe-inspiring!
My mom and stepdad had one, and it enabled them to go all over the place, not just where they bought in Tenn. Once he died, though, she rarely used it, and lost a lot of money when she sold it.
I love Sedona! I was there last year for my 50th with 2 of my closest friends, my daughter, and her best friend. One of my favorite places in the whole world! Okay, now I’m jonesing for Sedona.

I’m sorry, too, ladybug. I don’t know anything about timeshares...just Sedona! ;o) btw, my nickname growing up was Bug. My dad still calls me that!

LOL...I have been touring the many resort time shares in Orlando recently and wanted to know what is thought by real people. Like everyone else some are closing and many of the sales staff are losing their jobs. I have seen some absolutely beautiful properties though. BTW...there is always a way to stay at a time share resort without being an owner...
my sister and parents are partners in a Marriott one-it’s been wonderful for them. They use the one in Palm Springs at least once a year. then they all go someplace out of the ordinary for the 2nd week. they have the time, as retirees and self-employed people to use it.
Our daughter and son-in-law have one. They have used it, but since they are always broke, this is yet another expense they truly can’t afford. the monthly hoa’s and the yearly taxes, etc...
and if they wanted to get out of it-they‘re going to lose most of their investment, since there is no appreciation for those things
Not really you have to search for a really good one, one that is worth paying for and everyone should be careful of what they by time share you can only use by weeks i would prefer something diffrent that i can use when ever i want and still have the luxury of staying at a condo
