Q & A

I was reading in the Sunday paper that Social Security benefits will probably not be increased next year because we have no inflation.  I feel like my food costs are rising monthly.  Am I the only one experiencing this?

    • Does that truly surprise anyone????  Probably the next year they will say they will be decreased because we are paying for our unauthorized visitors (illegal aliens).

      And pretty soon...as it has always been predicted...there will be none.  All the money you have put into it....vanished.

    • The Government work on base interest in the UK might be the smae in the US and in the UK it’s 0.5% the lowest it’s ever been yes food is rising but the supermarkets are doing daily adverts saying about cost savings - these cost savings are not on staple food items like eggs, milk , butter and cheese or meat - more like 10 pizzas for $5 etc;

      Before Xmas your base when -0.5% which is so off the scale and scared the hell out of me ....

    • Food is definately more expensive. Potatoes are now close to 5 dollars per bag!!!! They were always a staple item you could find on sale for a buck.

       And eight dollars for a chicken? When did chicken become the expensive meat?
