    • Thank you so much for your kind words, my dad past away in 1971 (almost 38 yrs ago).My mom is a diabtetic (lost her eyesight due to the diabetes)she has dementia and sinces 2007 has been having mini-strokes. She choses to live by herself, she knows her way around her apt( for the elderly) and she tries really hard to still try to do for herself, but she can only do so much. She does have a provider and she is a God's gift (she helps out alot). My mom knows how hard it is for me, out of her 4 kids I'm the only one that pretty much does EVERYTHING for her..I have POA but that doesn't make me feel any betterfrown. She asked me the QUESTION the other day when I took her to her doctor. And I don't even want to think about that..She's my MOM...

    • Shopgirl..Thank you..Yes back in 71 was crucial, I was daddy’s girl, and now my mom calls me her baby girl.. And now the thought of loosing my mom will breaks my heart..I will have this HUGE hole, I will have NOTHING..Everybody tells me that I still have my husband and 2 sons, yes thats SO true, but MY MOM.. Right now she is doing good, (she’s having some good days). She has 12 grandkids and my 2 sons are the very closest to her I will not know how I’m going to deal with that when it does happen..I’m holding on to her for as long as I can..Sorry if I’m being selfish..
