What kind of mouse do you have? Can you suggest a good one for I think I am starting to have either carpel tunnel or arthritis.
The one I am using now is Microsoft wireless Laser Mouse and it supposed to help (not for me).
I have carpal tunnel and arthritis. I use a microsoft wireless mouse, it is very small and fits in the palm of your hand. I find it easier to use because it is so small. Mine is also very precise (I don’t know the terminology) but I don’t have to move it very far when I am pointing it. I find this helps too. You may also need a wrist support, gel pad for mouse and/or keyboard. I don’t use them because when I had surgery I have scar tissue on inside of wrists that gets irritated by the pressure. You may also need to get some splints that you wear to bed, I wear mine when my hands are bothering me from the carpal. I also have a wax heat bath that I can put my hands in and it is very helpful for both conditions.
I only use logitech mice. I also use a gel arm/wrist mouse pad. that is what helps me.
Do anyone have a mouse that has a ball in the middle? Does it help?
I don’t know what you call what I have on my laptop. It’s not the roller ball clicker or a separate wireless mouse, it is a little finger roller screen at the bottom of my laptop with two small click-on buttons underneath. It works great for me. I had carpal tunnel syndrome for years and had the worst shooting pains in my arms and shoulders combined with numbness. I have none of that now. Before I got the laptop I used a slanted ergonomic keyboard with this type of mouse configuration. It attached to the desktop computer with a USB port. If you want it I will box it up and send it to you. Let me know.
I use a thumb pad which is built into the laptop. I have also used the roller ball and I like that too.
I’ve always used a mouse and have a Kensington and it’s got the wheel etc; I need a mouse ....
Mine is very small as I find the larger mouse makes my arm ache after a while ....
