Q & A

Swine “pandemic” (difference between a pandemic and epidemic??) is hitting the news larger than life every day.  The latest is a death of a 23 month child here in Texas.  My granddaughter is 22 months old, which is way too close at home.

What is everyone doing to be safe from the pandemic/epidemic of the swine flu???

    • I am doing what the goverment has said. But I was taught by my parents to always wash my hands after any contact with people, pets, hospitals, etc. When going to the market I clean the cart handler with an antibacterial soft whipe. If coughing/sneezing cover your mouth. Any symptom? Go ASAP to your Dr or hospital. Precaution Rules right now.

    • . Wash my hands often (say a Hail Mary while washing my hands to make sure I wash them long enough)
. Take my Juice Plus capsules daily to increase my immune system
. Eat more fruits and vegetables in addition to Juice Plus
      . Drink lots of water
. another great excuse not to go out of the house (my boss will not like it since I procrastinate again!)
. Avoid crowded places (like hotels, airports) as well as hospitals, MD offices, or where sicks would be - no offense, I will wear mask (I can’t be sick further due to low immune)
. Use Peroxide or bleach to clean (more often): counter top, door knobs, faucets, bathroom, floor, etc.
      . good ventilation
. hand sanitizer in handbags, clean hands when touch evaluators, hand rails, shopping carts, etc.
. sorry again, no discrimination but I am avoiding Mexican gathering places (that includes Spanish Mass)

These are the precautions I am taking for my own.  Again, due to my current health situation, I have to be extremely careful.
