Q & A

Warning! The following post may resemble that of a conspiracy theory nutcase and  is not intended to inflame or incite fear...

My suspicious son thinks something in all of this Swine Flu pandemic is amiss...
Since the strain of flu is biologically the same as Swine Flu but does not require contact with the animal- he is concerned about biological/germ warfare.
The fact that it began in Mexico where it may be easier to introduce the attack and then let the nature of our traveling societies develop the mission.  Any thoughts?

From a spiritual standpoint, I think it is an atonement and warning.

I’m concerned about the swine flu. I am. BUT, Governments restricting travel. Government controlling the going and coming of the people to that degree terrifies me.

Is the Obama camp trying to turn our attention away from other things?  Do they want us to forget that this administration has spent more of our tax dollars in 100 days than Bush did on Iraq, Afghanistan and Katrina all added together?  Or that all this money has been spent, and the economy still sucks and no one’s health insurance has improved?  I could go on, but won’t.  Hmmmm.....

Sorry, but my logic gets the best of me before my fear and emotions set in.  I am not worried about this, and I live in Texas where it has already arrived.  But then, years ago they said the killer bees were going to kill us in Texas, too....

What really upsets me is that my 13 year old daughter is totally distraught by this. We live in Washington state, and she is just certain we‘re all going to die. That is hard to deal with. I sincerely hope that her angst will be the worst of my problems.

Who knows?  There’s a helluva lot of sh** going on that we don’t know or may never know.  BTW, no other country’s soldiers in Afghanistan got those vaccines and no other country’s solders are suffering the same debilitating physical and mental problems our solders are.  Hmmm....

Maybe the economic problems really ARE more important?! We, the people CAN do something about it as long as we stay on top of things and hold our government servants accountable.

    • Don’t forget to stock up on ammunition, too.estatic

This is getting crazy.  Consider the stats for a “normal” year, and the current events don’t seem so scary....

      To put this in perspective—-
“Flu deaths are common around the world. In the U.S. alone, the CDC says about 36,000 people a year die of flu-related causes.

Children, especially those younger than age 5, are particularly vulnerable to flu and its complications, and every year children die from seasonal flu.

According to the CDC, more than 20,000 children younger than age 5 are hospitalized every year because of seasonal flu. In the 2007-08 flu season, the CDC received reports that 86 children nationwide died from flu complications.

As of April 11, CDC had received reports of 53 seasonal flu-related deaths in children during the current seasonal flu season.”

Given these numbers, we should have been worried about the flu-virus a long time ago!

There seems to be a lot of fear going around everywhere about everything these days.....
