Q & A

Although, I am VERY happy about my near future debt-free lifestyle—I’m a bit upset with  my excess weight gain going through peri-menopause.  Any one of you ladies gain weight during hormonal changes? If so, how did you control the weight gain?  I feel disgusted!!!!

Congratulations on being near debt free.... It’s a great feeling!

So now I am moving—-love to dance so I got one of those DVD’s and I use the wii..and I must stay I am starting to see a small change estatic

I know it will take time but it is a new lifestyle and I know I can do it!

That will help speed up your metabolism more than anything, PLUS, strengthen your bones and aid with the whole calcium/magnesium digestion.  You will feel more upbeat when you exercise as your endorphins will kick in...and hence feel better. Make a social event. Work out with friends. Laugh tease and get after it!!

    • I found it much harder after Peri started to take off and keep off weight but it’s not impossible. Your friends here are right...move, move, move.  The wii is working for me as well.  I also have digestion struggles, so taking digestive enzymes is slowly melting away that horrible belly that I’ve carried for a while now.  Experiment with foods to see which ones make you gain and/or lose.  The wii makes that easier for me cause I can weigh every day and look back at the day before and eventually you can figure out what makes you gain and what makes you lose.

    • I’ve got some information from a nutritional medicine doctor on the subject. If you want to send me an email at [Link Removed] I’ll send you the info.  He explains the science behind the difficulty we have losing weight and how to combat the problem.

    • Thanks ladies!!!!  I’ve exercised and been slim all of my life, but WOW I never had a tummy/waistline problem until now!

I’ll probably start taking some carb blockers—what do you think????  Does anyone use these blockers?

    • I would stay away from carb blockers. Who knows what they’ll discover about them later.

    • This morning I was doing kickboxing, lol, my coordination and flexibidy weren’t at their best, but I can feel my buttocks and legs burningggggggg, yay! I use o woke up at 5 and do exercise with Gilad, lol. I am doing well and my battle against my tummy is going very well.

One secret a pro will tell you is to lift weight, even light weight, b/c hours after your body keeps burning calories. I don’t believe in any weight reducer products.
