Q & A

How many of you watched the show Jon & Kate + eight? I used to watch the show thought the kiddies were cute and hilarious at times but for the most part, she needed a reality check as far as her attitude towards him. Now I’m NOT condoning him cheating on her if that fact is true, BUT she would on many ocassions belittle the man on the show. Maybe he went else where for a little more compassion and tenderness because he wasn’t getting it from her. What do you think???

    • I didn’t like the way she would yell at him, especially in public. She does need a reality check..I don’t watch it as much anymore..I don’t condon cheating either, but maybe he did need to find the attention else where sinces he wasn’t getting it from her..
I don’t want to believe that he cheated on her, but who knows?

I don’t know if the rumors of his cheating are true or not and I’m not condoning cheating either, but if he wasn’t being treated right at home, then maybe he did go elsewhere for some affection.

    • Like the rest of you ladies ,I used to watch it but not anymore because Kate is rude and sarcastic and doesn’t seem very sincere, and she humiliates him in front of millions of people..Not cool at all!!!

    • Absolutely the woman treats her husband as if he’s her 9th child. It’s almost humiliating to watch.  Men need to feel like MEN.  Period.  Maybe we tend to label guys and put them in a category of being silly, dumb, inept, but that is something we shouldn’t embrace.  Watching this show makes me realize that having raised 3 sons was quite a feat for me.  Knowing they are good people is fabulous.  I would be a bad mother in law if Kate was married to one of my sons.

    • Never had any interest, because I am totally turned off by people who already have kids and then have multiples by insemination. But from what I have read, she is pretty mean.

    • Speaking of the way people are represented-I’m starting to be offended by TV ads that either present the hubby as dumb and the wife the exasperated know-it-all, or the kids being smart-ass backtalkers and the parents are just duh.....

    • Neicy - I’m with ya.  My daughter loves that show so I occasionally watch it with her.  Many times I’ve mentioned that she’s a witch towards him.  I figured he’d cheat on her one day (but I never told my daughter that).  Most men who get dumped on by their wives like that do end up cheating for the most part.  I just hope this ends up with a happy ending.

    • I do watch the show and the way I see it no ones knows what goes on in their home unless you live there. TV is TV if you believe everything you see on TV or read then that’s up to you but remember TV is selling time and magazines are selling ads and stories.

Do I agree with what I see on the show? not always but I have to remember with that show and many more it’s all entertainment estatic  They will have to decide to keep living their life in the limelight where everyone sees every move good & bad or take their family and have a normal life as they can.

I just hope that the kids are being kept away from all the talk and headlines it is not fair to them!
