    • Jana, the latest research says that artificial sweetners of any kind are harmful. I think that’s what Crystal Light is sweetened with. Plus, they probably also have some artificial colors, but I don’t know for sure.

Are you asking because you‘re not a water drinker?

    • I’ve been a water drinker off and on - but I’m having a hard time with it now. Crystal Light Lemonade makes it easy, but I haven’t taken the time to see what’s in it.. probably not good because it’s sooo goodl.

      Any suggestions? Thanks.

    • I add lemons to my water.  I use Aguav to sweeten my smoothies or Hot tea if needed.  It’s a natural sweetener.

    • When I’m on a healthy rampage I use lemon in my water and if one must have sweetner I too would recommend natural ones. Once again I direct you to the nearest health food store. Eating and drinking healthy is expensive but worth it. Sometimes just drinking 6oz of lemon water at a time will go down easier.

    • Crystal Light with vodka - that’s my summer time beverage when hanging with my buds.

Don’t drink the Crystal Light with electrolytes with vodka though!  It makes the alcohol absorb straight to your bloodstream & you get drunk very quickly.  I did not know that & learned it the hard way.  That was not a good night!

    • When drinking Crystal Light or any beverage, check for ASPARTAME and sugar substitutes.  Be careful because Aspartame and many other sugar substitutes cause numerous health issues with negative side effects.  (Dizziness, headaches, constipation, irregular heart rate, insomnia, depression, inability to concentrate and the list is endless.)

Sure, I agree that it may taste great, but the side effects outweigh the benefits.  Simple common sense should guide you to choose healthier beverages and take better care of yourself.

    • While going through chemo treatment last year one of the list of things the oncologist’s office gave me to drink was Crystal Light.  I didn’t particularly care for the taste but it got me to drink more water which was the desired effect.

    • Tough call, because it does help you drink more water. I do drink the lemonade and the peach tea.

    • Stevia is a natural sweetener which might be better than the artificial ones. Also, if you sweeten yourself, theye say you will probably use less of the sweetener than they put into pre-made beverages.

    • Stevia is the name of the natural sweetner that I have used in the past. I like it a lot. There was no after taste that I experienced.
