    • I have my morning routine when I get to work.  For about an hour, I just sort of go on auto-pilot, getting things done before I’m really awake.  If my boss talks to me and tells me to do something during that hour, I have to go back later and ask her what she said because I’m never focusing during that hour.

    • When I get in to work I always check out the news and Fab40 for a while, then I get busy.

    • Since my kids insist on not letting me have my “me” morning time at home, I get to work a little early and have my alone time there. I log on, read all my morning newspapers, check my online banking, pay bills, catch up on email, read a few blogs, and now check this site and post a blog or two...have my coffee...and then once I’m settled I turn the phone over from the answering service and get to work...

    • When I get up in the morning, I look in the bathroom mirror and tell myself that I don’t mind getting up at 5:20am and that I am thankful I have a job to go to.  That gets me going.
