    • All 3 of my dogs love to snouggle up on the couch with me or lay on my lap while I watch TV.  My bunny rabbit(snowball) likes my nose all the time and he also like to lay in my arms and sleep.estatic

    • I think my cat Baby was abused because ever since we got her she runs away...doesn’t like to be touch or does not like to interact...lately she has been coming to me and rubbing her head on my feet...she will come and wake me up in the morning...if I am laying down for a nap she will come and lay on my feet...I think these are signs that she loves me and is beginning to trust me...I have had her for 6 months...sure took a long time...lol...I can just imagine what it will be like in the future...happy

    • When my cat Bugsy was alive he would come and sit on my lap and just stare at me and whenever I would turn to look at him, he would Meow as If he was saying I love you. I miss my cat so mcuh!

My hamsters run up to the cage to say Hi to me, Romeo lets me pick him up and he will crawl around on my chest and shoulders, Hamlet doesn’t like to be touched or held, but now and then he will sit there and actually let me pet him.

My dog Lex fallows me everywhere I go and when I sit down, hes right there laying next to me or he will scoot on over and cuddle up with me to let me know that he loves being with me.

    • That’s nice Frannie regarding your hamster.  Consider another cat?

My cat follows me all over too - yes, even to the ladies room.

    • My old dog Sam who has been gone many years now went wherever I went.  No matter how bad his health got at the end, he made the effort to go wherever I was.

All his life he would bring his kills and lay them, if not at my feet, then in front of the kitchen window where I would be sure to see.

    • Chinadoll,

I have a Chihuahua, Pedro, who always wants to be on mine or my BF’s lap when we‘re home.  It’s always like Christmas and we‘re his presents every day when coming home from work, with plenty of tail wagging, begging, licking, and playing with his toys to show off, lol...My cat was a stray we adopted on our porch a few years ago, and she acts like a dog, it is so funny, she will lick your hand and your face when petting her, follows us around the yard meowing as if she’s carryiing on a conversation, with different meows, purrs loudly when on our laps or holding her, and always meows like she’s telling you some long story..Ahh the joy of pet ownership, esp since we don’t have kids, they are our children.  My dog has been in so many hotels he’s a world traveler, lol..

    • I have a PUG, too, named Winston. He is everywhere I am!

I don’t make a move without my dog by my side. He rubs and licks, but the greatest is when I lay down, if Hubby isn’t in the bed with me ( and sometimes when he is if we let him) he will curl up and ‘spoon’ with me just like a person.
If I am sitting, he is on my lap, if I am standing he is at my feet. He knows when I’m not feeling well, too. You can see the ‘hope you feel better’ look in his eyes. Nothing like the unconditional love of a pet to make your heart sing!

Laying on my lap, of course!!
