Q & A

What is your opinion of women who dress provocatively, who pose nude for men’s magazine’s,who appear in music video’s scantly clad?

I feel that any woman who does this has no respect for herself. Your body belongs to you and no other man but your husband should see you naked.

I find it repulsive to turn on the tv and see these half dressed women.

I don’t care if they are beautiful or not.

No money in all the word could bring me to parade my body naked or*half dressed* for all the world to see.

I don’t like it either but I have a choice to turn the channel especially with a young daughter around. It’s not going to get better just believe that.

I also agree that we have the option of not looking...turn the channel or not buying the magazines. Also, many women were probably not taught to respect themselves or their bodies and it is a sad thing.

When I see them on tv I think it is mainly for entertainment purposes and that they are getting paid for it...that doesn’t necessarily mean that is how they are when they are out of the limelight.

    • Personally I don’t find it offensive in the least.  I have found that typically those who do are either, excessively prudish, uptight, insecure in themselves or have painted themselves into a corner over the issue and feel they can not change their POV (point of view) on the issue/topic.

So why post this Anonymously?????  Are you overweight and jealous of those who possess the ability express themselves, or are you perhaps just average like the majority of us and not someone that would be considered a natural choice for doing print/media work.

Or are you a typical housewife who’s husband/SO enjoys the site of a beautiful woman, who’s perhaps nude........and you feel threatened by these women who have the ability to do this and the courage to live freely...........

It’s not my place you judge you for your view’s on this and you Anonymous are completely entitled to your POV on this topic...........just as it isn’t my place to judge those who possess the ability to live freely and express themselves in such a manner as posing nude etc.  To each his own.........it’s what makes the world go round......

As a woman, I find it empowering when a woman is confident enough in herself to do whatever it is that brings her happiness, being posing nude or sewing curtains.........

I personally find the female form extremely attractive and beautiful and I enjoy seeing people no matter what their shape or size comfortable with themselves able to express that........that to me is attractive and appealing.

What I find offensive personally is narrow minded/small minded people who live in a box unable to experience all that life has to offer them because of their own insecurities etc.........

I challenge you to parade around the house half naked (provided the kids aren’t around) and see what your husband/SO finds more appealing.......you in your sweats or you in next to nothing or better yet nothing at all........

    • To each her own.

There is a double standard here, as in a lot of cases, between men and women. Some of you who are uncomfortable with this sort of thing...have you stopped to think about the male nudity and half dressed men out there? Does that offend you, too?

Probably not as you are not a man.

It is there. It is everywhere, and we have no control over that. What we can control is, for example, WHAT we watch on TV and such and if it offends you, don’t watch...but don’t judge.

That is left up to our Creator!!!

    • Actually I was thinking about this blog this morning as I was going through mens magazines for an address of someone – in the UK the two biggest selling magazines are literally filled with topless girls , cars, sports and jokes and mens fashion ...... my daughter does a lot of product placement in these magazines with mens fashion and most of the staff are young girls and she sometimes does a guest spot as the fashion advisor ....... So my answer is going to be purely commercial from a business point of view Sex Sells – always has and always will ...... and I will say if you don't like it don't buy it or watch it ....
