    • I’ve been thinking I’d like to have my eyeliner done, but I don’t know much about it.  How painful, how expensive?

    • Never even thought about it.  I think it would hurt too much to have eye liner tattooed on.  Besides I am always wearing different colors to go with the eye shadow.

    • I wear the same color eye liner all the time, so I figured why not have it permanent.  Saw and ad in the paper for a place that does this, but I’m too chicken to look into it.

When my youngest daughter had her car accident, after three days in the hospital, I asked why her eye liner was still perfect.  Her older sister said “because it’s not eye liner, it’s permanent marker”   Ok, I had to chew her out because that can’t possibly be good for her skin, but I have to admire the kid’s ingenuity!

    • I don’t have any, but like you I would like to do eyeliner.

I wouldn’t want lip liner, cause you change lipstick too much...or I do anyway. Remember years ago when Roseanne Barr did her lips? I thought they looked awful (IMHO)

My eyes keep getting worse as I get older and doing the eyeliner would save me a lot of time and mess when getting ready!! lol estatic

    • I had my eyebrows done about 4 years ago and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done!  It was about $200 and it has saved me tons of time trying to get my makeup done in the morning.  My eyebrows are sparse anyway, so it’s like a foundation where I finish them up with some eyebrow pencil and don’t have to worry about them rubbing off by the end of the day.  They really help define my eyes.

My mom and girlfriend had their eyeliner done.  This is also a good investment for about the same price.  My mom looks so much more awake with it done, like a mini face lift.  BUT the eyeliner and the lipliner procedures are the most painful as they have no bones underneath to help the pain of the needling.  BTW, your skin will also have a numbing agent put on it before they go in with the needles.

You will need about 5 - 7 days to recover from the procedures as you will be swollen and then exfoliate—-  not pretty!  Hope this helps!

    • Thanks for the info Raquel!  I think when I have the $$ I am going to look into this.

When I don’t wear my eye liner, ladies in my community put their hand on my arm and look at me with this sypathetic look and ask how I’m feeling today.

    • It’s important to see photos or talk with people who have had the work done by whoever you‘re thinking of doing it. I had a couple of friends who said their results were disappointing and it’s something you can’t reverse.
