Just curious. I am drinking beer and painting the ceiling in my bedroom this afternoon. I’ve had this color on the wall for nearly seven years and that’s as about as long as I can stand to live with the same color.
Going from putty color to a mossy gray-green.
Actually the colors are called “baby turtle” and “ivy league”
The lovely part of doing my own home as opposed to painting other people’s houses (which I do quite a bit of) is that I can drink on the job and take as long as I want to finish.

Tulip those colours have a nice name .... I have a vision of you with a bottle in one hand and a paint brush in the other .....
I have to paint every 2 years as I live on a main road with heavy traffic so lots of grime .....traffic fumes etc;
I will usually paint a room about every 5 years. That’s usually as long as I can stand it. I like change.

It’s been almost ten years. We keep saying we are going to repaint but just never have the funds or the time.
Oh Carol, I so wish that I have a log house.
Where I live we rent and have been here for 6 year’s. The wall’s are white in 3 room’s, the kitchen is a real light tan ( which I hate) and the bedroom is an 
U_G_L_Y green wallpaper.We’ve been telling the land lord for the past 2 or 3 year’s that if he buys the paint that we will paint the room’s ,but still no paint.
I actually prefer white wall’s as that way it goes with anything and makes the room’s brighter.
OOhhh? You‘re supposed to paint??? LOL

It depends on how much washing I do. I’m an old fashioned wall washer. I get that from my Mother. When the walls start to look a little dingy, I get on a ladder and wash them down!
Now if I just want a new color, I do that whenever I want. I have been known to paint the same room twice in one year before just for a change. Call me crazy!

Our paint lasted 15 years! We lucked out with Benjamin Moore paint and being that nobody smokes, it lasted that long! Woohoo.
The walls you see in my picture here arent white anymore. Just painted them a light cocoa. What a drastic change from white!
