    • I am definitely a night owl....but occasionally it catches up with me and then I crash.  But despite being a night owl..when I do have to get up early in the morning for work....I can get a lot done around the house in just a short period of time.  At night...I’m up but not productive.  Isn’t that just crazy?

Yes....THANK YOU for changing the subject....

    • I am more of an afternooner.  I’m miserable in the mornings and I usually fall asleep by 10:30 pm - 11:00 pm.  When I’ve had 2 or 3 nights of waking up in the middle of the night I take one tylenol pm for a full night’s sleep and I wake up feeling good and rested.  My mom got addicted to sleeping pills, so I try to avoid them.

    • Soulful!!! I thought I was the only person who suffered from ‘too tired to sleep!’

      Linni, where is your c-pap?

Empower, I'm thinking of trying the Ambien. I go to bed late, hub gets up EARLY and the garage door is right under the bedroom.

    • Too tired to sleep - I know that feeling too. I am an night owl, hubby rises before the sun. I sleep through it all, but he is so sweet to be quiet. Lu, maybe you should get a box fan for white noise. That is one of the ‘I’m forty now and I can’t take this any more’ changes I had to make. Hubby sleeps lighter than I do, so he runs a box fan (aka airplane engine) all night. It makes it where you can’t even hear the dog bark right outside the window. It drove me insane. We have ‘compromised’ and it is now in the walk-in closet so the sound that is supposed to be muffling the sound is muffled. LOL
I think I need to go to bed. BTW, a cup of hot chocolate always help me when I am too tired to sleep. I can’t bring myself to take meds, even otc ones. This is the result of too much research, and the loss of liver function several years ago because of otc meds (tylenol & advil) side effects.

    • Most definitely a night person. I get up fairly early though because there’s always a lot to do.However, it’s quiet here after 9pm and I have insomnia....so unless I nod out I end up staying up til 1 or 2am nightly.
