Do you have any Toll areas in your area? How much per toll?
We have a toll but it's called a congestion charge and we are forced to pay $8 a day to drive into central London but the radius is very wide so I live about 110 yards on the edge so for me to go anywhere costs $8 a day ...... it has made no difference on congestion and the money was supposed to be used to improve the public transport system which is a joke as apparently it costs so much to run it will never be able to do that – its just a tax on cars and people – hate it
We live in a rural area so we don’t hit tolls until we get on the main highways like if we were going to Boston.
Yes..there are tolls in eastern PA and they range from $2.00 on the Tacony Bridge and $3.00 on the Walt Whitman Bridge and on the PA Turnpike it varies at each exit....Geri, does your mother-in-law live in Buffalo, NY by any chance?
Utah: Ogden’s I-84 toll connector
The government of Utah has given its approval, and some aid, to the first toll road in the state this century. The I-84 connector will be one of the world’s shortest toll roads (3-lanes and less than 2km), and one of the steepest (8% grade).
I think it is $0.25. Not sure for I don’t use it.
Pennsylvania Turnpike. We get on at the Donegal interchange and take it in to Pittsburgh at a cost of $2.25 one way which is approx 55 miles.
Sometimes when I go to work, I get on at Donegal and get off at New Stanton, which is 20 miles and its about a dollar, then I get on the Hutchinson bypass (part of the turnpike) and drive about six miles which costs another dollar.
