    • Tripped over a concrete walkway when I was alone in Texas.  I felt flat on my face.  I ended up in the ER.  They kept doing scan etc and I kept saying “Don’t worry about my brain.  It is already screwed up.  Please look at my face.  Do I need stitches?”  They obviously ignored me.

So the next few hours, I had a big bruise (like half moon bay) on my face!frown

    • I PAPER CUT MY EYEBALL OMG OUCH. I know this shounds so strange but my eyes water constantly and for awhile I would take a napkin like from a fast food restaurant and touch my eye and that would absorb the water.I used a very harsh napkun not realizing it was so harsh and dab dab ouch like a bee sting. My eye was bleeding and I was rushed to the ER and then to a specialist in Los Angeles who asked me how I did this and could not believe I stuck something in my eye. I don’t now I learned the hard way but he applied what he called glue to the area and I only saw cloudy for about a month and then it melted away and the Dr. watched for a while and said it was fine BUT keep stuff outta my eye egg head! I did fel like an egghead.

It was my first time on a 10 speed .I saw the car approaching ,went to stop ,but rather than using the hand brakes I used the “foot brakes” There was no “foot brake” .I had panicked and forgot about the brakes on the handle bar .frown

I felt like a freak with this 6 inch bar sticking about 3 or 4 inches up off of my arm and all these pins and screws sticking out!! Needless to say, I am very careful now when I get on a step ladder!! tongue out

    • Oh where to start!  I’d have to say the worst was a vaction in the Bahama’s.  Went snorkling with another couple and the guy driving the boat didn’t pull the anchor up when we left.  I was sitting in the back and when he took off all the sudden the boat reared up and the roap with the anchor snapped and flew right where I was sitting.  I think it hit my arm first.  I had a compound fracture, you could see the bone sticking out and then it apparently hit me in the head as well.  Long story short, if possible, when I got to the hospital they set my arm in a cast (had two surgeries when I got home), they had to shave part of my head and put in stitches.  If I would have been 1” over to the right I might not be here today!
