I had to tell mine he made me uncomfortable. Everytime I visited him no matter what  for he would tell me he needed to do a pap. NO I did not let him. I just felt very uncomfortable, I also took my hubby w/me once. Now he always asks how is the hubby?

    • I LOVE my doctor. She is a very compassionate and thorough doctor. She takes the time to actually talk to her patients p[and get to know who they are as people. She knows everything about my life and I feel comfortable confiding in her and sharing personal details about my life with her. She explains everything very thoroughly about whatever issues me or my kids are having or meds that she is prescribing. She is just an awesome doctor. happy

    • NO- Family Dr.- he treats women differently than he does his male patients.
Others have told me of their own horror stories about him.

    • My doctor is awful.  She makes me wait up to an hour and she’s condescending.

    • I haven’t been to my doctor in maybe a year or so, but I really like him.  He’s very busy, but he takes the time to actually listen, and he’s wonderful about explaining things.  Doesn’t hurt that he’s kinda cute too. estatic

I like my chiropractor too.  He’s a sweetheart.

    • Yes, I like my Gynecologist.  She is very thorough and takes the time to get to know her patients.  I have been with her for about 15 years.  Now, my primary care doctor, that is another story.  The reason I stay with her is because she is very thorough and when you have an illness, she will work with you to determine the cause.  She is not afraid of the HBOs, PPOs, if she feels you need something like tests run, she is going to see to it that it gets done.  And, I like the fact her first response is not just to prescribe medicine when you have an illness, she’ll work with you to determine if their may be other causes before she prescribes medication. Another thing I like about her is that she is very straight forward and shoots it straight. What I do not like about her is that she is so abrupt and abrasive.  She has a high turnover in her pratice because she apparently does not get along with her staff that well.  I have been with her about 15 years as well.  I thought about leaving, but I do not want to have to get to know someone else or have someone else get to know me and my medical history at this stage in the game.

    • I have been lucky to have had very good doctors. They have been very kind and great!  My doctor I have now Is always making sure I get the test I need and the shots I need and he cares about my health, Hes very professional but yet so kind at the same time. He reminds me when It’s time for my mammogram, pap smear, eye exams, and he doesn’t try to rush me off, he will listen to everything I have to say. I would have to say all my doctors have been good. estatic

    • I like my ob/gyn and orthopedic surgeon. They are both male doctors and are very caring and take the time with me and answer all questions in terms I understand. I’ve also been a patient of theirs for many years. My pc doctor is female we get along okay.

    • LOVE MY DOC...takes excellent care of me. Takes all the time I need, is very careful with my meds as I am on many, and he is so concerned that if I miss an appt or it goes too long since I have been to see him, he calls me at home to check on me. H does that when he starts me on a new med, too. Calls in a week or so to see how I am reacting.
He even gave me his cell # in case I ever need him after hours. Don’t get the wrong impression ladies...I’m not the only patient he is like that with. He is just THAT AWESOME!!!  estaticestaticestaticestaticestatic
