    • OMG! no and I am sorry if it happened to you.....
My advice would be to be honest and upfront, call them if possible.

    • Yes, it was a very old dog and did think it might happen – she just passed away in her sleep and the first I know was because my two were very fretful – so checked on her and realised. I took her to the vets for cremation after I had phoned my friend ........
The dog was 18 and had a great life ......

    • No has never happend to me, but It was the other way around. Back In the late 90’s My Best Friend was watching our cat while we went out to dinner and to the movies and my BFF lived with us at the time, and my hubby and I didn’t really go out much so when we did, we asked her to watch our cat and dog when we knew we would be out all day and night.

When we came home she had this look on her face and she said she had something to tell us. I can tell It was very hard for her to tell us what happened. Our cat had gotton hit by a car and died. I was so Heartbroken and crying but I knew how harder It must have been for my bff to tell us what happen and to be the one to go In the street and get our cat, we lived on a main street and It was hard for her to do that, she felt really bad and she felt like It was her fault, and we told her over and over that It wasn’t her fault. so I can Imagine having to be the one to let that person you are watching their pet for that something happen to them and they died. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone.

    • Fish. I Came down to feed them and 2 were floating upside down, their little boy cried and I thought he was mad at me. I took him to lunch and the tropical fish store afterwards. He looks up at me and says Aunt Janet you can’t replace someone you love, I cried. And apologized and said you could learn to love a new one couldn’t you? He put his hand on his hip and said well if I have to I’d rather have a lizard. He is 22 now and we laugh to this day about what he said. Kids you gotta love em. estatic
