Q & A

I have been on Fab40 since early last fall. I feel like I have a responsibility to make it enjoyable for me and those I participate with. Do you feel the same? And if so what should our contribution be to help make it the best?

    • I, for one, do not like conflict among friends. It truly hurts me to see others hurting and I always feel as if I should be able to do something to fix every situation, though I cannot.
All I know is that I have made a lot of friends here that I want to stay in touch with, chat with, and share with. I look so forward to our morning chats over coffee and as I said before, I like to wake to a good laugh or even a good cry, whatever it is that myself of my friends need to start our day.
I am so thankful to Yana for this site. It is a place to come and be free. Free to be yourself, to speak your mind and let your hair down when you may otherwise not be able to do so. I do not want to see that come to an end.
I will contribute in any way I can to make sure that we have a place to remain free to be WOMEN!

    • I love fab40 and I have been blessed here. I wasnt surprised to see that there was some sort of offense taken and people hurt today. I was already prepared for it and I knew the day would come. We must understand that God is love! When the enemy sees to much of that he has to distroy it. He is out to kill, steal and distroy us/you. What better way then to work on our soul. If you didnt know our soul is represented in out MIND, WILL and EMOTIONS. Whatever you give those three things to is where your souls strength lies.  The enemy cant stand it when you guys encourage each other, pray for eachother, hold up one another, laugh with eachother and cry with each other. To him your showing to much LOVE. The enemy is out to sow discord and that is what he did this morning. Many were hurt. I gave a word of encouragement this morning and I really wish you would have read it, because I think you would have been more prepared. I apologize for just posting it. I use to send it to all my friends individually and I thought that people may have been tired of me sending so many messages daily, so I started just posting it. I didnt stop sending them individually because anyone said anything it was just my own stuff. I feel like I let you guys down though because if I had just done what God told me to you all would have received that word last night and maybe divine intervention would have saved some from this anguish today. I love you guys more than you will ever know. You are really in my hearts. You are my frineds and family and I dont want to be without any of you. Ive not met one of you in person but I feel you everyday and night in my spirit. Dont give the enemy anything, and what he has taken, TAKE back and restore. I love you

I missed whatever is going on.  I sign on and see that there are 20+ messages all with the same subject and I just hit the delete button because I don’t have time to check it out.  Sorry.

I do enjoy the website and I enjoy all you girls.  I just hate getting sidelined with a multitude of messages every day. I have three email accounts, numerous websites and blogs.  It just too much right now.  I have totally given up Farm Town at FB.  giggle

I am really enjoying knitting and sewing right now.  Just got that embroidery machine back and am having fun with that.

My next PET scan is July 13 and my mammygram on the 14th.  Say some prayers that I’m still cancer free.  I know it’s the devil worrying me and playing with my head.  Thanks.

I know most ladies don’t have a problem keeping up, but by the time I get back thru the four or five pages and post....it’s kind of lost.
I can contribute my time, positive words, reading blogs, writting blogs.
It kind of hasn’t been the same for me since all these chat rooms started. If it were more user friendly, I personally would chat alot more than I do now.

Dear sweet Cocco...you are such a blessing to all of us here on Fab on a daily basis. There is no way you can take responsibility for anything that has happened. I do agree with you that the DEVI has interfered with the LOVE that we have for one another. That is all the more reason for us to band together as sisters as make sure that he can not destroy what we have here. We must band together as one and support one another and not let anything come between us.
I like Maria’s post. Something as simple as posting a ‘hello’ or a ‘happy birthday’ on someone’s profile is a BIG contribution as it just may be the pick-me-up they need that day to get them through. I know myself, there have been days when I have found them on mine, and nothing could have been any more what I needed to make me smile and lift my spirits.
Let’s just vow to stay strong and keep being there for each other. That’s what makes this site so special to me. Even just the little things are so, so BIG.
      IMHO

    • Well, ever since more than one group opened for chat and became private, I stopped chatting. Got too confusing. pink oxygen and the other one.

I joined Yana’s group for chatter. Honestly when you have a site with too many inner groups, trouble will arise.

In one chat there was trouble with a member and it got out of hand. There was no moderation or deletion of posts, so really do we need moderators? The poor moderators get all of the slack and it is not fair. IMHO

We are grown women here, we should act like it!!

Now , as for the question, no one should feel the weight of trying to make it enjoyable for others.

My responsibility is only to be here when I want to, participate if I see something that interests me, be here when and if a friend needs me, be respectful of others, NOT to start dram for dramas sake, and just have some fun!
