Would you travel to go to a memorial/funeral for a celebrity?
Word is MJ’s public memorial will be at Staples Center in LA. there will be hundreds, if not thousands, of fans from many miles away. Would you?
Sorry No but having said that I did watch Princess Diana’s funeral on the TV as it affected the whole nation and I did go to Kensington Palace to lay flowers ... I think we didn’t believe she was dead ...

I watched that whole thing too, just like the wedding. Her death happened just two weeks after my stepfather’s, so I was really in shock.
No. I’ve been to too many in my lifetime. It’s sad he passed at an early age and even more sad is the way the press is portraying him. Can’t they just let him RIP?
Angel your right it’s now a circus for him and also when his kids are older what will they know fact or fiction ...

Vicki I agree. I’m so fed up with the press airing every celebrities dirty laundry. And they don’t even know if it’s true or not. They never wait for the facts to come out they just want ratings. I really do feel for his family and kid’s. People call him a freak, pedophile, etc. but I would bet all those that do speak ill of him have danced their booty off to his music one time or another!
I don’t think that I would but living in the center of people still celebrating the life (or death) of Elvis I may answer differently after August.
I hear it’s crazy around here during that time!

I’m with Tracy. If it is someone I know, I would go. Otherwise, nope.

Agree with Tracy and Annie, only if the person, (emphasis on PERSON ) was a friend or relative.
I’m with Tracy also. I’m not too far from the Staples Center, like maybe 20, 30 minutes but theres no way I’m gonna deal with a crowd like that. I am not good with Huge crowds..lol, I just assume watch It on tv In the comforts of my own home
May he R.I.P.

No, I wouldn’t. Going to a funeral is not my idea of a good time.
If I lived in LA then yes I would go for MJ...I am a big fan...and if I lived anywhere near Denzel Washington if/when he passes...hopefully not until he is 100 yrs old...then I would go to his funeral/memorial. But not for anyone else. The biggest funeral I’ve seen was Princess Diana’s...I watched the whole thing on tv. That was another devastating loss.
