Q & A

Ladies, I’m looking for a really good and very effective product for dry feet. It seems that my hubby suffers from dry itchy feet and he  has tried some of everything. Is there a product out there that any of you may know about that will help? Thanks!

    • Neicy,

If he has callouses on his feet, he can soak them in Johnsons foot soak in really hot water, then dry and use a PedEgg on his callouses, then do the hand cream/vaseline/sock thing..He’ll have pampered baby feet after a couple days..Good Luck!  If he just has really itchy feet, Lanacaine spray works wonders on any itch, also comes in a cream.  Gold Bond hand cream is really good too.

    • If it’s some type of fungal infection that is causing the itching you might try a mixture of the same amounts of Tinactin Cream, Benadryl Cream, and Hydrocortisone Cream.  We’ve made this mixture for years to help with foot fungus, boys problems between the legs, etc.  You can get an ointment jar at the pharmacy, just ask.  All you have to do is mix equal parts of all three creams together and apply to affected areas, EVEN after rash, fungus is gone.  My husband uses it on his back, he has some type of fungus that hits him during the summer months.

If not that then use as suggested above vaseline, aquaphor, or lotion and the ped egg.

Hope something works for him, good luck.

    • Sounds strange but soak his feet for 15 min, warn water pat dry and apply olive oil EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and put on the sox and go to bed his feet will feel better in the morning. Also try a scrub wash for feet while soaking.

Avon has a good cracked heel cream for really dry feet that works nice.
P.S. you might want to take prcaution in the shower the next morning slippery sometimes.

    • Hey Neicy,
I have Eczema on my feet and consequently they are cracked and dry.  What works for me (besides Rx) during the day is Bag Balm or Eucerin cream.  At night I rub Olive Oil (1st)and Eucerin or the Balm (2nd) then put on socks or footies.  You can find Bag Balm at Walgreens.  Good luck

      Cheryl~
