    • I get them once in a while, scared me the first time i got them, but now i know if i just relax and close my eyes they will pass. Light seems to aggravate them, so closing your eyes if your outside should have it pass in a few minutes. Try not to worry .

How do u get a grip on the apprehension that follows?

    • they are freaky, but just like regular migraines, you can sometimes know they are coming. Really all we get is the light show as i call it ..thank goodness we dont get the excrutiating headaches and nausea that comes with full blown migraines. I know it is hard not to worry when you have a pretty light show going on, but yes i think stress does play a part, somewhat..i had more when in a bad relationship , than i do now. Still try to realise that it all passes pretty quickly, relax and find a quiet spot and close your eyes and focus on something else.  They may not come again for months or in my case lately years.
