    • My five would be:
1.Mahatma Gandhi to ask how he changed a nation through non violence.
2.Martin Luther King- what made him stand up to be counted and in a peaceful way.
3.My grandfather – to ask him about his childhood and his family as I never got the chance.
4.Elizabeth the 1st – how she held on to power for so long without a husband and in such a man's world.
5.God- to ask him if he is happy with how we are doing as his children.

    • I’ve read 2 of his books “The Five People You Meet In Heaven” and “Tuesdays with Morrie“.  I loved both books.

As for the 5 people I want to meet:

      1. My dad—I didn’t get to know him before he left this world.

      2. All four of my grandparents—I didn’t get to know them well either.

I guess that makes my 5, but there are more I’d like to meet.

      JFK
      MLK
      God
      Betsy Ross
      Susan B. Anthony

I could go on and on.

    • I’ve got the book and it’s one of the few I’m keeping. I’ve also seen the movie.  As for the five people I’d most like to see:
      Jesus
      my grandmother
      my mom
      my friend Vic
      my uncle Gerard

I guess family trumps famous people for me.

    • The Dalai Lama, my Grandparents on my fathers side, and my Grandpa on my Moms side, didn’t know any of them.  Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa.

    • Provided I GET to heaven, Allah is the only person I want to be in the presence of there!  Not asking to see HIM, what with all the different levels, but honestly, everyone else is just gravy.

If I found my mother there (highly unlikely!), that would be a bonus!

    • I look forward to seeing many friends and family members, but like Robin, I mostly look forward to being in the presence of God. Or near! If I get to look up some others, Mother Theresa would certainly be among them. As for the others, I’ve no idea!

    • Coachmombabe, I encouraged my then 17 y/o son to read it and after a few days, he actually started the book!  He admitted that it was “cool.”
