Have you ever met anyone who thinks they know you just because they know your ex?
Hubby and I were at a party tonight. I was bored out of my skull because it was a lot of people I don’t know and his friends from work who I don’t know well. When we got ready to leave a new kid in the sales department made a point of introducing himself to me, which I thought was nice.
A guy who was standing nearby who I have never laid eyes on before in my life took it upon himself to speak to me as well once he heard my name mentioned, but it was obvious he is a friend of my ex husband. He was rude and obnoxious and fortunately I’m the only one that heard the insult.
I ignored him and walked away without giving him the time of day, but I am still so mad!!!! Just because he’s friends with my ex, he thinks he can insult me at a social gathering! What a horses ass!!!
Yes, and then they were surprised to learn I was not close to what they imagined....jerks...but I guess that goes along the lines of being like the company you keep, there is a saying but I can’t think of how it goes...
