    • I’m praying for you, Kim. And, yes, there is a group on Fab40 for MS. There’s also an MS national group I receive e-mails from. And you may want to chat with our own MzTracy as she lives with MS every day.

Also check out blogtalk radio. I’ll get the link for you. Laurie Zieber, one of our members has a show on blogtalk and she had two interviews/podcasts with Tracy.

    • Kim, I am praying for you.  Even though the time has come and gone that you should have had the procedure I pray for your daily strength.

    • Hi Kim!
      We have a group here:
      http://fabulously40.com/group/id/multiple-sclerosis-the-mskateers

I know how scary it is, and am sending you blessings.

Make sure they do an MRI and the evoked potentials test. Many times lumbar fluid can be clear, yet sadly still MS. Mine was clear. I thought Woo Hoo, but was wrong.

I also got 2 second opinions. lol Always get at least 1 second opinion, especially with something like this.

Remember too, we are all different. Many with MS have no outward issues and you would never know. That is the majority. Never listen to anyone!! lol I did in the beginning and knew I was going to die. tongue out

Medications are all different too. I tried 3 of the injectables and only liked the Avonex. Others choose different.

If, by chance it is MS, call your local national multiple sclerosis society and see if they have the MS counselor program. My girl, Margo, calls me every week to check in with me and help me through any issues. Every tuesday for, hhhmmmm, 9 years now! Wow.

Feel free to contact me anytime at all. Always here to lend an ear!
      xx

    • Hi Kim..Saying prayers for you. My sister lives with MS and MzTracy is correct when she mentions that everyone is different.  My sis uses an injectable called Betaferon and has been on that for two years.  She experiences some symptoms, but to look at her you would not know she deals with this.  I pray every day for all that live with this and hope someday science will make it possible to resolve it.

      HUGS
      Mary

    • Thanks to everyone for the kind words, and support!
It’s over...I made it through the spinal tap. Not a great experience.  He had to poke me twice, and my spinal fluid came out very slow. I guess now it’s a waiting game til the results come in.  Thanks again.....Kim
