    • I did try it for a wedding and a dress I needed to get into – I had chronic wind – bad and constipation plus the minute I stopped I pile the weight on and more ........ just my experience

    • I tried Slim Fast and I also had major constipation...just wondering if the fiber content was just a bit too much for me.

    • I’ve heard on different shows that these may work but when you stop you can actually gain weight. Same with some diets.

    • I think the rule of thumb is nothing beats sensible eating and these diets do mainly get you to pile on the weight after .....
My constipation was so bad I looked like I had a pot belly

    • I’ve never heard a success story involving Slim Quick.  Remember when Oprah went on that liquid diet and lost ton’s of weight and then gained twice as much back?  I agree with Vicki - eating in moderation and making good choices is much better.

    • Slim quick...more like waste money quick.  Nothing but proper diet and exercise works.

    • I just reviewed the ingredient list for SlimQuick. The green tea and additional caffeine is what"s supposed to increase your calorie burn (you can just drink green tea yourself). Then, they add soy and other supplements that are supposed to balance your hormones. How they know that your hormones are out of balance and just what YOUR body needs is amazing (yes, there"s touch of sarcasm in that).

They include herbs that are supposed to help you get rid of excess water - which is probably where the actual “weight loss” comes from. If you drink 8 glasses of water a day and eat enough roughage from fiber-filled foods such as broccoli and beans, your body will take care of itself. The gas, constipation and bloating that others have mentioned is very often the result of too much roughage/fiber too quickly combined with too little water.

Except for the vitamins they add, everything else is just herbal supplements (such as crushed dandelions). The FDA has never approved any herbal supplements as actual weight-loss aids.

In short - though I“ve never tried it, SlimQuick doesn“t appear to offer anything special to help anyone lose weight. Drink green tea (include some cinnamon to keep your blood sugar levels low), take a multi-vitamin and eat right. That“s the best advice when it comes to weight loss.
