    • I do my shopping from catalogs and the Web...don’t like crowds, impatient salespeople or busy parking lots..not to mention the weather is cold and miserable.  I am not a huge fan of winter months and personally feel that Christmas should be a time of reflection of the present year, quiet time spent with family and friends renewing our faith and finding peace in giving of our time in any way...I love to cook, so my time is spent in the kitchen whipping up traditional and unique foods to share with everyone.estatic

    • We have no stores here that are worth shopping in. I do most of my shopping online for the holidays. And, this is the busiest season for me. I’ll be working non stop from mid november to the week of Christmas so online shopping late at night and early in the morning saves me.

    • I will shop online for all mine, I have a great membership that gets me a discount. Shopping online also helps me from over buying.

    • We have a big chain of chemists called Boots and they do amazing products and for every $ you spend you get a loyalty point so this weekend we actually bought loads of gifts – big beauty boxes and best of all they had a three for two offer – we did all the girls in the office and some of the people we deal with and I think in real money it came in under £60 – trust me we had a trolley full – the rest I'll do online. We just happened to be out and they had loads of stuff and we thought let's do it now – most unlike me !

    • This is going to be a very light Christmas for me.  I’m just buying gifts for my nieces, nephew, and daughter (unless I find a job soon).  I’ll probably shop in early December.

    • I have many gifts I purchased throughout the years and I keep forgetting to give them out.  This year, I am going to use them up first.  They are still nice and applicable.

    • I shop year round.  Antique shows, sales, the San Diego County Fair (I find cool stuff there!) Anything I find that looks like it will work for Christmas, I put in a box and then I pull everything out in November.

Then I figure out who gets what and where I need to fill in.

      I rarely shop after November.

    • No, I haven’t.  In recent years I have cut down a bit with shopping. It lowers the stress a bit.  I just make a list and do most of it online now.
