Q & A

Calling all web designers!  I would like to inquire about your services, set up and monthly costs and whatever other charges.

I have my jewelry on ETSY, www.maverickmarvels.etsy.com—but it’s not doing too well. I’m thinking of moving on after the holidays.  There is quite a bit of competition on that site.

Please PM me for details.  Thank you in advance.

    • Thanks for the clarification, because I know nothing about web design, developers, etc . . . You‘re quite talented; this sounds like a very complex profession.

Can you give me a sample what it would cost me on a monthly basis to maintain my own website?  I may consider it for sometime in 2010. Sounds expensive, but it’ll help me make the decision.

Thanks very much for your time.

      Maverick

    • I’ve been searching for site development and design as well. Maverick, check out Intuit Websites. The company is well established, own quick books and turbo tax, can integrate your site with their other software, have designers to create your site for a few hundred dollars or you and start yourself with one of their templates and have them finish the little touches for you. Their hosting is from $4.00 to $20.00 a month depending on the services you buy and best of all, when you call their customer service you get a live person on the phone somewhere in Northern California.

    • That is the problem I am having at securing a job here in FL. I just received my degree in graphic design. I know a little about Dreamweaver and Flash (took one term of each). Most of my classes were in the print side of graphic design, Photoshop, Illustrator, and page layout. Everyone that is hiring wants graphic designers to know HTML which I do and PHP which I do not.
