Q & A

Do you think it is too early to be playing Christmas music? We have 2 radio stations that have been playing nothing but Christmas music for over 3 weeks now.

    • Not a Scrooge but to me it is rushing things and I get tired of hearing the songs for 2 months. In my opinion I think that starting the Christmas songs at Thanksgiving until Christmas would be more appropriate. Home Depot put out the Christmas trees and decorations the end of September!

    • Commericals on TV are playing some of my favorite Christmas music, and like
Tressy, I am a Christmas spirit, so it’s not too early for me to pop a cd in the
stereo and enjoy it. I highly recommend Il Divo’s cd, The Christmas Collection.
It's beautiful music by 4 hotties!

    • I love Christmas music, but I don’t want to hear it before thanksgiving.  If it starts too early then I’m tired of it by Christmas.  And I’d like to hear a little Christmas music up until new years, but no, as soon as Christmas day is over the radio stations quit playing it.

What IS with everyone trying to rush the Christmas season??

    • For me it’s the meaning of Christmas and the spirit of it and has nothing to do
with a tree, shopping for gifts, money or stress. When I hear Christmas music
or see decorations already out in stores, it’s just a reminder my most Favorite
personal spiritual celebration of mine is coming up.

Mind you, I’m not religious, just spiritual.

It has put me in the mood to start my gift making earlier because most of my gifts are homemade,, and I can whistle while I work  :)

No Christmas songs or jingles yet on the radio thankfully ......

I guess you could say, I’m not enough of a multi-tasker to celebrate two holidays at one time. lol

It is quite a challenge every year, trying not to incorporate so much of the holiday into her birthday.
