    • Well, I got a gift I really, really, really, really wanted.  I’ve been telling my husband and kids for two years that I want a gift certificate for a massage.  Of course they cannot remember things like that.

ONe of my girlfriends stopped by on her way home from work today with “a little something” for me.  She gave me a gift certificate for a 1/2 hour massage!

I am so blessed to have wonderful friends, and wonderful online friends as well.

    • My father gave me a beautiful pair of garnet earrings several years ago...and i lost one.  This Christmas, i gave the remaining earring to my husband and asked him to take it to a local silversmith and have “a funky, fun and very cool” ring made with it.  I also told him to ask my best friend to help him.  I cannot wait to see what he came up with!

    • I’m not one to care for material items. I haven’t ask for anything special, but my husband and kids all went in together on something that they say I’m just going to love.
As long as I have my children and husband here with me, traditions, memories, and good food, I’ll be as happy as I could possibly be.

    • There really isnt any one thing that I need or want.  I basically dont need anything and at the moment, I have everything I want.  So anything I receive as a gift is just that, a gift, which is so much more appreciated.  I love receiving gifts!  estaticestaticestatic

      MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

    • The gift I need the most is the spare bedroom cleaned out so I can have my office back. When we started to remodel that is where everything went.
Angelcart...my hubby and I are the same way, we buy what we want and need all year long so there really isn’t anything that I need.  I think I am getting a new desk for my office though.  I HOPE!!!!!estatic

    • MizMary, I too, have a spare room that is suppose to be my office. Sadly, we have stuffed so many things in there, I have resorted to using my bedroom as my office. I call it my bedoffice for now. lol

    • LC...your word, “bedoffice” reminded me of a story:

I have a friend who lives in VA and works January-April for a tax investment firm.  She used to tell me about her “boss” and his preoccupation with her chest.  He even made suggestive comments to her...so, i began referring to her place of work as the “boffice“!  We had many laughs about him and other employees at her “boffice“!

    • A few years ago, I received a pair of Ugg slippers and they are the first thing I put on when I get up and come home. Pricey, but they last! Well worth the investment.

I think that the greatest gift that I have is not material, but still is priceless. I give thanks to my wonderful friends and family that make my life truely incredible.

      Merry Christmas everyone!

    • I actually bought my Xmas present last month for National Novel Writing Month. I decided to get a Toshiba NetBook so I wouldn’t have to schlep around my heavy laptop all over the place to get NaNo done. I still use my HP laptop, but I don’t have to lug it to like the laundry room, now that I have that 3 pound wonder with 9 hours of battery time!

You know that massage sounds really good. I could use the works, massage, steam and stones.... Maybe next year.
