    • Going to spend the night at my sister’s house—all of us, our kids and husbands play games all night and pretend we‘re rock stars playing Beatles Rock Band. Then at midnight we celebrate the new year with a champagne toast make a mess with poppers, confetti and noisemakers. The next day we wake up to the Rose Parade, then football games and food the rest of the day ..and we usually stay in our pj’s all day :)

    • Unlike most people, I consider the New Year my birthday, and the 12/31 holiday is the day before I put up new calendars. It’s snowing here now so I suspect I will do what most people do on a normal Thursday night with a day off on Friday. Eat and catch up on some needed sleep.

    • my sister usually hosts a party, but not this year.  so dh and I will have a quiet dinner and watch 8mm films of our kids when they were really little.

it’s actually a whole lot more fun than it sounds

    • Hubby offered to take me out to eat tonight. But, I know by the time he gets home from work he won’t be up to it.

We’ll most likely do the same thing we do every single night of the year.  He will watch tv and I’ll knit and be in bed by 10:30.  Gosh we‘re such exciting people.
