    • After some of the things I’ve read about the process of making and selling knockoffs, I shy away from buying them. I don’t know if any of it is actually true. It just makes me feel cautious about spending money with these people.

    • I won’t carry knock offs. It drives the prices up of the real bags. I’ve collected COACH bags since the mid 1980’s and still have all of them. I carry them because I like the bags...never because it was a trend. I’m just not sure why someone would spend good money on a knock-off that’s made of poor quality materials—instead they should use that money for a nice leather bag. This will keep the designer bags makers from raising prices because of the knock-offs.

    • I am a Target bargain shopper-don’t carry knock-off or the real thing. I know-I’m a real bummer...

    • No knockoffs for me. I don’t like how, for example, the Coach knockoffs have a brushed brassy look to the buckles where the real thing has it’s trademark silver ones, which are much more attractive to me.

ps not a big fan of knockoff perfumes either. They're sort of bugsprayish lol

    • Years ago I had a Luis Vuitton with a broken strap and they, too, just fixed it for me no questions asked. I carried that bag forever.

I buy a lot of Dooney And Bourke right now. What I like so much about good quality bags is they last so long.

    • I don’t carry knock offs.  No applying labels after the purchase and all that.

I do carry and sell designer inspired pieces, and love the quality I get and the prices I offer to my customers.  I get more compliments on my bags when I carry them, than I ever did on my “designer” bags.

At least with designer inspired they are designed by someone.  Not companies replicating an exact design and then using the name to make money.

    • I don’t do knock offs, but I did find a very cute bag at Target. Everybody loves it. People alway stop me and ask who is the designer.

    • I just came across this question.  Jackie you are killing me with the Gucci and Fendi knock offs. That is so funny.

I don’t have the fake purses. I will get one purse a year. Usually on my trip to NYC. I still have a limit on price. Some are crazy. I went into Prada last year. I was looking at a purse. IT ws 4,200k Some kind of limited edition. I thought I would choke. Don was saying baby if you want it get it. HE DID NOT SEE THE PRICE... He would of died if I would of said ok, and he will be paying for it. HAHA I should of done it for a joke. There would have definately been a return.

    • Ok..i am going to tell you all my secret. I have NO labels at all..not one thing...not anything.  No knockoffs either. I have never seen the point of paying so much more money for something just because it has someones name on it.( or pretending to. I know, I know....I just don’t get it. My girls keep telling me i “need” a coach purse , or LV this or prada that. Don’t want it, never have, not even a little bit. Now i am not a flea market gal either...lol. I am totally an in betweener...i believe you get what you pay for so i will pay a good bit for a nice purse or shoes but NOT because anyones name or logo is on it. That is just not me.

    • Irish try Kathy Van Zealand ( I adore her sunglasses too) they are reasonable name brands and soooo much fun.. I buy them because I love them too sometimes.. for a change.. There is nothing wrong with no name brand purses either or Target.. Actually Target has some bags featured on some fashion magazines.. so dont feel bad... Its what you like..that counts.
