How much does your religion influence your life decisions and how you relate to others? Is it always there?
Hey Robin! Great to see you!
I’m Catholic. I was raised Catholic but we were pretty relaxed about the religion. I would say I am a Christian, God loving person who does the best I can to be a good person. My motto is “when I die and am at the place of judgement, I don’t want to have a lot of explaining to do”
Now that being said, I have friends across the board with religious beliefs and even one athiest in the mix. I love them all. What I find the most troubling about any religion is a “my way or the highway” philosophy. I had a “discussion” about this with a staff member at my husband’s school once. She told me that Jews and Catholics don’t go to heaven. My response to her was “The only way to know for sure is to die. You go first and get back to me on that.”
Good question!
Good answer Cynthia. I can’t stand that attitude either.
My religion is a part of who I am. It’s with me every day. Some days I make stupid decisions that don’t reflect my Christianity and those are the decisions I always regret.

I believe we all have to find our own way. I was at the bottom of the bottom (and contemplating suicide). I was just so sick of living sick and tired all the time. Anyway, God answered my prayers and helped me find a solution that changed my entire life. But especially my relationship with GOD. I now leave everything up to HIM. He is my Savior and my salvation...my life. I’m also Catholic.

mine, has taught me FORGIVNESS,and thou shalt not judge,I continue to grow in grace and learn new things everyday.
My religion is definitely part of who I am. I believe in forgiveness, to see the good in everyone and give them the benefit of the doubt. I have a strong faith in God and believe in prayer.
My religion really do helped me. I had some real rough times especially health wise and it was my faith that brought me through with a sound mind. I have learnt to give thanks no matter what, it may seem hard but just to keep a song or prayer in your heart helped me. I love all and have friends of all types of religion and it is a relationship that you have and not in my place to judge.
I am Catholic and I beleive that my religion is a reflect of the manner in which I have chossen to express my beliefs. It is am intergral part of me and therefore a part of all that I do, good bad sensitive or indifferent
I am a Catholic - I may not agree with some of the things they talk about but in my day to day life I do try and bring Christian values of sharing, compassion and giving to your fellow man
My religious faith in God defines who I am, and because of Him, I am a happier, focused, loving, patient, kind, honest, and more forgiving person. When I remember He is in charge I can handle anything that comes my way on this journey called life.
