Which movie do you remember watching at the theater when you were VERY young? I vividly remember “Bed knobs and Broomsticks” and “Mary Poppins“.
The first movie I remember going to in a theatre was “Snow White“. Scared the hell out of me! I think I was in first grade and a little smalltown theatre ran a showing of snow white and dad thought it would be really cool to take us kids. I’d never even seen a movie theatre before.
I can remember the folks dragging us to westerns at the drive-in movie, but I don’t remember them specifically.
Bambi - I cried and cried so my mum bought me a Bambi teddy so I had my own.

Get this! My friend remembers her very first movie at the theater at the age of 5—” THE EXORCIST!!!!! Very traumatic for her!
wow, I remember at a young age seeing the movie Texas chainsaw massacer (sp) but not at age 5. I would have been totally traumatized. I get scared now If I watch The Exorcist. Can’t sleep for a week.

I remember watching ET with my parents... The line to get in was soooo freakin long.. It was nuts....
But I also remember watching Friday the 13th movies with all my friends when I was a teenie bopper... Those were the days...
Oh, I remember Bedknobs and Broomsticks too! I rented it for my two girls and they didn’t get it - thought it was long and boring. I remember it being magical. Ah, kids these days...

I remember Bedknobs and Broomsticks. That was probably the first “age appropriate” movie I saw in a theatre. I also remember going with my mother and her boyfriend to see The Todd Killings and The Dead Are Alive. I probably remember more about those two films than all the kiddie film I’ve seen.
I just realized that might explain some things...
“The Blob” at the movies in elemetary school, Steve McQueen starred in it! Too funny!
Oliver Twist...went on a field trip with my grade school class. I still love to watch that movie to this day.
As a FIRST, I can recall “Sounder” quite vividly, but after watching it with the kids, it wasn’t the same movie I remembered.
I also remember that “Cornbread, Earl and Me” stayed with me for a long while, especially the scene where he got shot and the soda pop flew up (slo-mo), then, fell to the ground. I was so young, I didn’t even see it coming.
