    • I do too, some of the things did come true, some still haven’t, but the ones that did came true because of the tenacity and focus that lead me towards achieving the goal.

I think the biggest misconception about vision boards is that if you make one and look at it, it will happen. Great concept, but unfortunately it’s flawed....

Karyn, Vision board is a board that you compile pictures of the things that you would like to have in your future. Whether it’s a house, a car, perfect body, or business.

    • I love vision boards. For me, they serve as a reminder of what my goals are for the year. When I look at my vision board, I feel inspired and on track.

    • I do! But I agree with Yana. You cannot just stare at the vision board and expect things to happen. You have to be willing to take action towards your goals. I have my goals and my life purpose written on them.

    • I have never heard of a vision board before till now. Very Interesting. I use to cut out a picture of the body I wanted and tape It to the fridge but that didn’t last long. Is that like the same thing? do you just find pics In a magazine and put them on a board? I am curious now.

    • Hi Fran - yes you use pictures from magazines to symbolise what you would like to have, be, or do in your life.  It’s a bit like making a collage.  You can be as creative as you like with it and you place it on the wall somewhere you can see it everyday, to inspire you and help you focus on your goals.  I always put family photo’s in the middle to make it personal and link the images together.  You can also use words and quotes that you like.

I enjoy creating them and updating them as goals are achieved or renewed.

    • I do use them on a smaller scale because of space right now.  I opened a file folder and put the pictures inside the folder.  I have it opened on my desk during the day and fold it away at night.  It’s amazing how much I can keep focused on my goals by using one.

    • Several years ago I had heard of vision boards, however, never actually created one.

You have motivated me to ‘Just Do It‘.

I have a tendency to - keep it in my head - which at my age, can easily be distracted with another ‘project‘.

Thanks for bringing this to the forefront.

    • How about everyone post a pic of their vision boards once they are done?

That will inspire everyone to actually do it.

So ladies, this is your weekend project.

      Enjoy
