    • Hmmmmmm....... a few years ago there was a huge power outage in MI and other states (completely weird experience BTW) and I ad to wait in line for gas for 2 hours. They only allowed $10 worth at a time and of course only accepted cash.

    • wow...that is crazy...I had to wait in line for 4 hours once when the Canada Postal Workers went on strike...I had to go to the social services office to pick up my check and I tell you that was the most humiliating experience....people were driving by yelling terrible things to all of us...Never again!

On the phone I was once in a queue for our telephone company over an hour and had almost lost the will to live - they had disconnected me by mistake on a Friday night at 6pm and of course you go to a call centre in India .... I was in tears by 9pm but got it back on ......

    • When my daughter was 16 I went with her to wait in line for the American Idol auditions in Las Vegas. We got there at like 3:00 in the morning to wait for registration to open which was about 6 hours. Then another 5 hours waiting for her 20 second audition!

    • Does waiting in Friday afternoon LA traffic count as a line?  If so, it took me 6.5 hours to drive 180 miles a few weeks ago. Stop and Go the entire way.
